This was the weekend of the Appalachian Association Youth Retreat. It was held out at Camp Joy this year, and we brought the kids for their first over-night Camp Joy experience. It went really well. The kids had a blast running around and getting dirty. They ate well, played hard, and slept intermittently. All in all, not a bad two days.

Oh that brings back memories! It's fun to see pictures of the kids in such familiar surroundings. I'm glad you're helping to continue the Camp Joy legacy.
ReplyDeleteNext summer we are going to send XP to Junior camp. He really wants to go this year. :( BTW, thanks for the box of clothes. Addie Lou was very happy. :)
